Exam Time : Wandering to YouTube for Inspiration

YouTube : Inspiring me, Always

Exam time, feeling tensed : Let's wander into the YouTube space for some inspiration to ace the rat race examination of IP university.
Typing inspiring Ted talks  on YouTube search ,results in some pretty awesome search results I must say.

TED TALKS

I started by watching the first video Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work  and it was from this video , I am writing this post right now. It emphasized on how happiness and positive thinking enhances learning and creativity. Being happy is not a final destination but a journey to success you all must enjoy.
As my search on YouTube for motivation was about exam preparation, I concluded that I should start studying my subjects with a positive outlook and learning them with a happy state of mind. This would [I hope] enhance my learning and help me perform better in my examination.

The other video I watched was Derek Sivers: Keep your goals to yourself and suddenly I could relate to every word of the speaker. Frankly speaking I tell each and every goal I have in mind to my friends and 90% of those goals are never completed, and I always wondered why .

What I learned was when sharing your goals amongst your friends , you imagine yourself completing that goal and all the praises that comes from it. This actually makes the task look easy, which sadly is not so.There is also a less of a motivation factor left behind as you have already imagined that success.
So I next time I am about to speak about my goals, I'll make sure I don't.

3 days Before End sem starts

FINAL EXAMS ANALYSIS: CHECK

TIME : 12:AM

I just have 3 days left for my finals end semester practical exams and talking about my preparation it is negligible. Let me analyse my 6 subjects and preparation so far :

DCS [Digital] : 20%        18/25
This is my first exam, on 19th and I have to cover 80 % of the syllabus in just under three days.
What I believe "Shiv shankar mishra", my latest buy for DCS-2 can make it possible to cover my syllabus, But still for that I have to study.

JAVA : 60%                     19/25
As in every semester there is one or two subject that save your ass, Java is surely one of them. Though I recently got to know about JavaScript being in the syllabus , But i think that's just another programming language which I would love to study. Though I will have to pull up my sleeves after DCS , But I think studying it is a better bargain than studying the Boring Computer Architecture.

Computer Architecture : 20%             13/25
This is the subject, which has been the pain in the ass for me this whole 5th semester. Though the concepts are really good and computer architecture is worth spending your time, The book "Morris Mano" is way too boring. I have been searching internet for easy and simple videos and PPT's but to no avail.
Though some of my college friends have understood it, They are my last hope in this one.

Linux : 40%             18/25
This subject is Interesting in the terms of practical learning, writing scripts and fiddling with your Linux Operating system. But the main drawback I am facing to to complete it's course for my final exam is the large number of small small commands. These commands though seems small and easy to learn individually, but just cluster them together you will mix and match every syntax.

Organization Behaviour : Never analysed      20/25
This is one subject which needs no explanation and writing, it's self explanatory.

DBMS : 30%          18/25
Finding the Stanford course on Database Management system on Coursera was "the finding of this semester". Excellent videos and lectures and I think I would be able to secure good marks if I watch the entire lecture series that is a part of my syllabus.
2 days holiday for DBMS should be enough ,given I utilize my resources well and Study.
